On the final ‘in person’ chapter meeting of 2021, Oliver our Managing Director hosted his feature presentation to the room of business members.
BNI Zeus is Lancashire’s flagship BNI chapter which is held every Wednesday morning at The Mill House, Corn Mill Yard at Clayton Le Moors.
The atmosphere this week was amazing, mince pies before 7am in the morning would have never crossed our mind as a sensible breakfast option, but they certainly went down a treat!
We have been very lucky to have such a festive room to meet in every week, Sharon Deal that runs the building and it’s hosted events has decorated the room beautifully including the jumbo XMAS sign lights as can be seen in the image above.
Oliver’s presentation went into details about his life, challenges, achievements and the business itself. Oliver went into details on his previous retail experience on the high street trying to compete with the major players like PC World but sadly it became impossible with constant raises in outgoings and the tough market in retail at the time.
Lots of positive feedback came from the group members with questions about our ideal business partners, ideal clients and preferred choice of PC hardware that we provide as a company.
Oliver has recently been promoted to a Committee Member within the group. This entails getting involved with membership decisions, event planning, and performance discussions about group members to provide support where we can.
Following the tightening of Covid restrictions, our meeting next week is on the 22nd and will be held on Zoom. We welcome visitors to join the meeting so that they can see what BNI is all about.
