Admin Assistant – £19,000 – £21,000 + Benefits (based on experience)

Bowland IT is a rapidly growing IT services firm that is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Admin Assistant. As an Admin Assistant, you will be responsible for operating our accounts systems, dealing with direct debit income management, and assisting the entire team and our Managing Director with admin and other office-based tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain our accounts systems, including processing invoices and payments.

• Handle direct debit income management, including setting up new direct debits, cancelling existing ones, and monitoring income flows.

• Provide administrative support to the entire team and our Managing Director, including scheduling meetings, answering phones, and responding to emails.

• Help with other office-based tasks as required, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.

Requirements:

• A strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

• A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work under pressure.

• Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.

Service Desk Coordinator – £27,000 – £30,000 + Benefits (based on experience)

Bowland IT is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Desk Coordinator to manage our rapidly growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction, meeting SLAs on time, and delegating tasks throughout the team. In addition, the Service Desk Coordinator will focus on the well-being of our support team and ensuring their success and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the service desk team, including task delegation, scheduling, and performance management.

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing customer complaints and providing timely and effective solutions.

• Monitor and ensure SLAs are met, including ensuring that tickets are resolved in a timely and effective manner.

• Maintain and update service desk processes and procedures to ensure they are optimized for efficiency and customer satisfaction.

• Focus on the well-being of the support team, including managing workload, providing support and training, and identifying areas for personal and professional development.

Requirements:

• A strong focus on customer satisfaction and the ability to manage a team to achieve this goal.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and suppliers.

• Strong leadership and team management skills, including the ability to motivate, train, and manage team members.

• Experience in a service desk or customer service role, with a good understanding of IT systems and processes.

• A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work under pressure.
